Thanks for the article Elliot. It seems there are a lot of detractors in the comments. It is fair to point out that remote development is a tool. It works for some, but not all situations. For me it works greats. I have used it at organizations from large corporate to small agencies. It suits my needs. I appreciate being device agnostic and not caring about a hyper fast local net connection. Even withing the same organization though, and with people doing similar work, it is not the correct tool for them. My advice to everyone is to take stock of their current situation tation and needs to determine what the best tool is for you.
